This study aims to determine the effect of Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME) on patients' quality life with type 2 diabetes mellitus by using a pre-experimental design one group pre and post-test sample 15 respondents. The results study, most respondents, as many eight people (53.3%) aged 56-70 years, them 14 (93.3%) were women, had junior high school education, nine (60.0%) 1-5 years diabetes, before DSME lowest score was 86. highest 99, average 90.93, while after DSME, inferior 88, 105. standard is 98.67. middle grade treatment has increased. difference in mean scores p-value = 0.000. In conclusion, there an DM patients being given Work Area the Pasar Ikan Bengkulu Health Center.
